Start golfing like a pro now. Get the golf tips that will have you golfing better immediately. Guranteed this program will take You By the Hand And Tell You Exactly How To Drop 7-10 Strokes From Your Next Round of Golf Instantly… Legally… And Without Even Trying!”

Finally, learn what THOUSANDS of golfers around the globe are calling the “best golf instruction” program ever. Let’s face it, golf is probably the most difficult sport in the world. It takes a great deal of skill, mental fortitude and perseverance to excel at it. You have to have great hand-eye coordination, balance, athletic ability and creativity. You can receive all the best golf tips in the world and take countless golf lessons but you still can’t seem to create any consistency…

Now, there are a ton of people who play golf just to hack around and have some fun. But more avid players are always trying to improve their swing and overall game. The problem is that golf is a very difficult game to master and you don’t have enough time to practice to really improve significantly. Even the guys who play golf for a living and have the best golf instruction in the world still struggle and they practice every day!

BUT…

If you’re like most golfers, though, you want to improve, not just hack around. Golf, when played poorly, is not a lot of fun. What do I mean by poorly? Let me see if this describes YOU:

I play golf 2-4 times/month and have never broken 90 or even 80I can’t work the ball (fade, draw, general trajectory)I have at least 3 or 4 three putts per roundI rarely hit greens in regulationI can’t get up and down when I miss a greenI make a birdie once in a blue moonI don’t really know where the ball is going when I swing (hit and hope)Even worse, I’m a more advanced player and typically shoot in the low or mid 80’s frequently but can’t break 80.If you can identify with even one of those characteristics of a poor golfer, then it’s time to do something about it. No one, and I mean NO ONE should have to play bad golf. Here’s why YOU shouldn’t settle for poor golf either:

Bad habits will only get worse if you don’t fix them. You are wasting money on every round of golf you play because it turns out to be an expensive practice round! Golf does not have to be so complex and difficult. If you knew how easy it was to break 80 you would have far less gray hair, anxiety and uncertainty.. Golf is infinitely more fun in the 70’s than it is in the 80’s, 90’s and 100’s. TRUST ME on this one. “How to Break 80 and Shoot Like the Pros!” has quickly become one of the best selling books on the Internet because it is written and designed for those of us who actually have to do something else than golf to make a living. This is not a simple collection of golf tips, golf lessons or golf instruction…it is your personal guide to lower scores.

So, stop wasting money on expensive golf lessons and read on to learn how you can play better golf immediately. You see, I was able to and do exactly what the pros do consistently and apply it to my own game. The results were astonishing. In this book, you will learn the simple steps to create more consistency with your swing and game in general. To learn these steps takes approximately 30 minutes and he also provides drills to ensure you can incorporate these new techniques into your game. Now, this isn’t simply a guide that shows you 4 steps. It is a complete manual on how to shoot your best scores ever. I cover all aspects of the game so that you can develop a solid all-around game in your quest to drop shots. This golf instruction guide will be the last book you read on this subject. All contents of the book are designed to do ONE thing…..lower your scores!

For the last 24 months, I have helped thousands of golfers on all seven continents lower their handicaps and shoot their best golf possible. Golfers from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal and Scandinavia are sending us their success stories every week because they have seen the program work for them. My goal is to simply provide the best golf instruction humanly possible. You too can be a part of this growing mass of improved golfers when you send us your own personal Success Story.

Why Owning a Golf Cart is Such a Great Idea

Why Owning a Golf Cart is Such a Great Idea

You are going to love to read this article in search of some valuable instruction in the mystery of the perfect golf cart. But I doubt you are going to find what you are expecting. What I am going to do is give you some advice that will hopefully help you in your game but more in the head game than in the physical part of the game. I want to in the next few paragraphs talk about three truisms that will hopefully put you at ease, steel your confidence, and allow you to play up to your ability. The three areas are rhythm, routine, and consistency.

When I talk about rhythm in relation to the golf cart I mean pace of cart play AND peace in your thought. Most people have heard of the evils of hurrying a cart or of deceleration, but what about rushing your mental game or losing your concentration. First have this one swing thought in mind as you step to the ball-“smooth carts produce better rides, I don’t have to drive slowly.” This allows you to have something for your mind to latch onto in that critical moment as you stand over the ball in front of your cart. It is easy to produce and isn’t complicated or distracting.

Secondly you need to have a routine. The golf course is not the place to be thinking about the mechanics of curing your slice or cutting or drawing the ball. You have to be concentrated on the best type of shot to hit, NOT how to hit it. All of that work should be done on the range. Routine refers to the natural sequence of events that goes into envisioning the shot that you want to hit, selecting the club, and choosing the golf cart that you will use to get yourself around the course. The routine is very much a part of the rhythm of your game and allows you to find a level of “been there, done that” comfort that is so helpful to your confidence.

The last thing is consistency, and this requires discipline and time. The mechanics of the golf cart are important, sure, but the consistency of the cart is ten times more important. If you have a natural slice but you know how to use is and can trust that it is going to go in a certain way you are way better off than if you hit the ball straight 80% of the time and don’t know what is going to happen the other 20%. You can also trust your cart to get you to your shots even when they are in the deep rough.

So instead of filling your mind with all the intricacies of the newest hybrid carts and trying to always have the best, find your natural fit in a golf cart and make it consistent. Then work on the part of the game that has a lot more to do with your score, the head game, and finding the calming and confidence building influences of rhythm and routine.

Six Lessons We Can Learn From Sam Snead

Six Lessons We Can Learn From Sam Snead

Article by Jack Moorehouse

Like many of golf’s great players, Sam Snead relied on swing keys to help him achieve consistency. As his membership in golf’s hall of fame attests, these swing keys served him well during his career. What’s interesting is that many of them are still used by today’s pros to do the same thing.

Below are several time-tested swing keys that can help you achieve consistency and knock that golf handicap down a few notches.

1. Relax Your HandsYour hands are one of the keys to your swing. If your hands are tight and tense, your body will be tight and tense, and you won’t be able to swing freely. If your hands are loose, you’ll not only hit the ball farther but you’ll even swing smoother as well.

Snead used to think of gripping the club with the same amount of pressure you’d use to hold a bird just firm enough to let it fly away but not firm enough to hurt it. Others think of holding a tube of toothpaste in their hands, just firm enough to squeeze a little toothpaste out of the tube but not hard enough to push out too much.

2. First Move DownDifferent golfers key on different things to begin their swings. Some focus on pulling downward with the left arm (for right-handers). Others concentrate on turning the front hip in slightly. Still others key on lowering the left heel slightly. For Snead, it was all these things. Since you can think of all them at once while you swing, choose whichever move reminds you to make your first move down.

3. Hit The DimpleA lot of my students ask during golf lessons what to look at when putting the ball. Apparently, a lot of people also asked Sam the same question when he was playing on the tour. He had a simple answer. Pick out a dimple on the ball and try to hit it.

The idea is to make the club strike the farthest back part of the ball every time. Zero in on that particular dimple, then putt away. If you hit that dimple squarely your putter is probably moving and facing in the right direction. You’ll get solid contact unless you’re chopping at the ball or swing up to it. Aiming for the dimple will improve consistency.

4. Cure The SliceThe slice is probably the biggest swing fault among recreational golfers. To cure a slice, check to see that:

* The club starts back inside the line* Your left side is completing the turn* The left arm/hand dominate the backswing/downswing* The stance is not the same for the intentional slice, hindering a complete pivot.

For a quick cure, try hitting the ball to the right of the fairway. This approach aids in bringing the club into the ball more from the inside than the outside.

5. Lobbing to the GreenSnead always relished a challenge. And trying to hit a lob shot over a hazard to the green is a challenge. Snead’s advice when pitching over a hazard with little green between him and the hole was simple: You want the shot to fly high and land soft-one that will settle in its tracks. To execute this shot, you first need to address the ball with the clubface laid back more than usual, increasing the loft.

Once you’ve done that, take the club straight back and break your wrists early in the swing. Strike down through the ball with the hands leading through the clubhead, and with the wrists snapping into the ball. This produces a high lob that lands softly. The whole swing should be leisurely and rhythmical.

6. Swing in “Waltz” TimeEveryone has his or her own pace. Some golfers play at a fast pace. Others play at a more leisurely pace. If you had seen Sam play, you would have noticed that he always swung the club slowly and smoothly. He called it swinging in waltz time and that was his swing key for keeping his swing under control.

Sam liked to tell the story of the time he gave a lesson to player who played like he was going to a fire. He couldn’t get at the ball quick enough in an effort to try and hit the ball 400 yards. The divots were flying father than the balls. Afraid the guy might hurt himself, Sam stepped in and told the guy to slow his swing down. Next time Sam saw the man, he was amazed. The man had slowed his swing down to waltz time.

Sam Snead was one of the games best players and teachers. Like many golfers he used specific keys to trigger his golf swing and achieve consistency. The six we explained above were just a sample. By incorporating them into your swing, you’ll be well on your way to reaching that single-digit golf handicap you’ve always wanted.

Great look, feel, hit, price, condition! Thanks!

Great putter for the money. A little on the light side. Definitly a confidence builder.

Improve my Handicap from 25 to 18 in just 2 rounds.

This is a great putter. Consistent feel and contact. My only complaint is that it does not come with a headcover, unlike the customer care answers says on the right. This is annoying because I’ve had a hard time finding a generic cover that fits this head and got a ding on it already. Golf Clubs Sale at cheapgolfforsale.com.

This putter is very well balanced. I can’t believe how many 3 & 4 footers I am making now. I feel that I am going to make every putt that I try.

What are the different types of golf shots?

What are the different types of golf shots?

Though it sometimes seems that there are dozens of different golf shots that a golfer must learn to be a “good golfer” (e.g., consistently shoot in the 70’s or 80’s), there really are only a critical few golf shots that matter outside of the putting game.  If golfers can master these critical golf shots which can be applied and adapted for just about any golf situation, then they will certainly see a drop in their scores and more consistency in their game.  Below is a listing and description of each of these golf shots and how they are applied around the golf course.

1.Straight Golf Shots: As the name implies, a straight golf shot starts straight and holds the line toward the target.  It is used when the target is straight in front of you and shaping the golf shot right or left is unnecessary.  A straight golf shot is achieved when all the golf fundamentals are executed and synchronized effectively including setup position, grip, swing path and weight transfer.

2.Draw Golf Shots: A draw golf shot is used to curve a shot right to left around an obstacle to the target. The basic fundamentals of straight golf shots are followed, except alignment is right of the target and the grip is rotated in a “stronger” position to encourage right to left ball flight.

3.Fade Golf Shots: A fade golf shot is used to curve a shot left to right around an obstacle to the target. Similar to a draw, the basic fundamentals of straight golf shots are followed, except alignment is left of the target and the grip is rotated in a “weaker” position to encourage left to right ball flight.

4.Fairway Bunker Golf Shots: A fairway bunker golf shot is hit from fairway bunkers adjacent to the fairway. A good fairway bunker shot can position you well for your next shot and help save your score.  On these shots, it is important to position the body so that ball lies in the middle of your stance and stand “taller” throughout the shot to strike the ball cleanly.

5.Greenside Bunker Golf Shots: A greenside bunker golf shot is hit from bunker adjacent or very close to the putting surface. Since loft, rather than distance, is more important on these golf shots, it is important to position the ball forward in the stance while weight is distributed (and kept) favoring the left side throughout the golf shot.

6.Pitch Golf Shots: Pitch golf shot spends more time in the air than on ground and are typically used when 60 yards or more from the putting green.  The setup and weight distribution used for pitch shots are different than for straight, draw and fade golf shots and a lofted club such as a sand wedge or lob wedge is used.

7.Chip Golf Shots: Chip golf shots are typically used when the golf ball is 3 to 6 feet off the green and putting the ball is not a good option.  Chip shots are miniature versions of the full swing where just enough power is applied to land the ball quickly on the surface and roll toward the cup.

Of course, there are several other types of golf shots, but most are just variations of the ones above.  If golfers can focus on mastering these golf shots, then their games are sure to quickly improve.

The Ping iWi Craz-E putter

The Ping iWi Craz-E putter

The Ping iWi Craz-E putter is a member of the latest generation of putters from Ping that are designed to complement the popular i-Series and Karsten Series putter lines. The iWi Craz-E putter is the result of Ping’s focus on multi-metal technology to deliver optimal weight distribution and enable the golfer increased consistency and feel on the greens. By utilising different materials in construction from the stainless steel body, a hybrid steel and elastomer insert, and a choice of steel or tungsten sole weights desingers have ensured that the Ping iWi Craz-E will deliver optimum performance. An additional weight kit, containing 4 interchangeable weights, is also available to enable the golfer to customise the set up of the iWi Craz-E based on local green conditions.

The iWi putter is Ping’s range of moeveable weight putters. Ping tell us that the ‘smash factor’ or force of impact of the iWi putter is the same as the rest of their range so it is easy to move models and this achievement is commendable. The insert gives very good feel and the sound at impact is the best of any insert putter we have tried, although not as good as a pure all metal putter. The real difference is in the sole where there are 2 steel weights of 12 grams each which can be changed. Ping have raided the tungsten larder and will be selling a separate weights kit with a wrench and a pair of 20 gram and 28 gram tungsten weights so you can adjust the weight of the putter yourself. All this flexibility is great, but we found the standard weights to be heavy enough. However with the weight set costing around a 3rd of the price of the putter itself, this is not a cheap option, but the fact such a kit is available at all is a welcome development none the less.

The new iWi Putter Series puts customization in your hands. Instead of changing putters, just change the weight to your desired feel. Want more mass towards the heel or toe to match your stroke, insert a 20- or 28-gram tungsten weight. In all, there are nine weight combinations when you choose the optional weight kit (sold separately).

Each putter in the iWi line comes standard with two 12 gram stainless steel sole weights and a two-piece 304 stainless steel/elastomer insert to give you the feel and performance found in PING putters for nearly 50 years. Available in six popular designs.

The Ultimate 101 Guide To Beginner Golf

The Ultimate 101 Guide To Beginner Golf

If you are a complete beginner or novice to golf, this article will definitely lead you to a place where starting and taking the first step becomes easy. Many golfers who have great potential fail to progress and for some that entails even making the greens. They key to having a fantastic golf career either professional or leisure is to overcome the inertia to transcend to the next level from the previous. With some expert, informative and useful advice, that step becomes all the easier.

The foundational steps of golf involves balance, power and driving, addressing the ball, grip, and finally putting (shot techniques will be covered in a different article). Below are these steps elucidated in more detail:

Balance:

For a golf swing that maintains consistency and power, balance is the primary underlying element which must be maintained throughout the entire swinging motion. The first step is to position one’s posture such that the centre of gravity is centred over the ball. Subsequently, one’s feet should be apart as far as the shoulder’s width with a slight bend at the hip area (hip tilt of about 30 degrees or one “o’clock” upper torso position) with rear protruding a little; knees at this point should be mildly locked. Next, both hands should grip the club in such a way that they are in line with one’s chin and this should all culminate in natural distribution of weight over the golf ball. The bend is one of the most crucial components of the balance position. One should not feel as though he/she is “sitting” comfortably which would imply the shifting of bodyweight towards the heels of the feet. The latter would stiffen one’s body rendering flexibility impossible with the subsequent swing inevitably be wayward.

At the time of impact, approximately seventy five percent of one’s weight should be transferred onto the leading foot (ie left foot for right handers and vice versa). One’s head must be behind the ball and hips should be c 10cm forward vis-a-vis the initial position. Consequently, the spine is tilted to double that of the starting stance. Post impact, following the gradual motion of the body, weight shift should naturally flow back towards the heel.

Power and Driving:

The greatest problem faced by beginner golfers in driving the golf ball is that of power. Below are some pointers and steps to follow and check to ensure a great dynamic drive-through:

– Making sure the ball is not teed-up to low. This has become more of a problem of late because the contact surface of drivers (especially iron 1) have pronouncedly increased. This results in greater difficulty in locating the sweet-spot which in relative terms have shrunk. As an approximation, the ball should be teed such that the top half of the golf ball is above the club face when the club is in a stationary position on the ground. This would ensure that the contact point is on the centre of the club head. Evidently the larger club head, the higher the tee.

– Making sure one’s hands are not position too closely to the body in the starting position. This mistake would invariantly produce a smaller arc in terms of backswing and follow-through. The key is not reach-in slightly and not to overdo it; this is easier said than done and requires practice because the natural tendency for beginners is too hang one’s hangs inward for security and comfort. Following the circumference of the semi-circle driving motion will generate quicker and more powerful drives then a path trending across the diameter of the motion-arc.

– Many beginners lift their front foot on the backswing. This inadvertently leads to a counter-productive weight shift to the front of the backswing resulting in a hook or shank nine times out of ten instead of a drive. One’s front foot should be firmly anchored to the ground on backswing forcing the hip and shoulder to turn in s spring-like fashion releasing great power. One’s weight should be shifted to the backside post impact.

– Accompanying the tee is the ball position. Setting the ball too far back or front would lead to premature contact on the down swing or delayed impact of the golf club after traversing the mid point below the golfer’s chin. It will be near an impossible task to hit a good drive if the above occurs. A perfect position would be the ball equidistance from both feet.

– Lastly, confidence and mental approach to a drive is vital for beginners. Every single shot should be hit with full believe that the drive would go the distance and not stop short of its intended target.

 Addressing the golf ball

Ball addressing entails contacting the ball so the square of one’s club head is exactly perpendicular to the ball on impact. The same swing applies regardless of whether one is on the driving range, tee or fairway; this applies for all woods and irons from 2 through to 9.

The tip post following the steps above is to keep one’s head down and one’s eye on the spot where the ball sits. One’s head should be in this position throughout the swing. Head lifting and movements during the swing or looking up as the club hits the ball would pull one’s body out of alignment making it almost impossible to hit the ball squarely.

The Golf Grip

is one’s only means of connecting with the club. A sound grip is half the battle won in regards to generating power and accuracy. Wrist swerve is then the main power source and a common mistake by beginners is to grip the club more in the palm than through the fingers. Using our sensitive fingers increases wrist hinging and this produces better tee shots and puts.

One other common error amongst even the most experienced golfers is a flimsy lead-hand (left for right-handers) grip concentrated in the palm. Consequently, the golf ball is sliced rather than hit. Here are some check points:

– the club should be held alot more by the fingers than the palm.

– the golf club should be resting on the base of the little finger and contact the index finger just above the first joint.

– Post positioning the club on the fingers, one’s thumb should be parallel (in touch and pointing outwards toward the club face) to the shaft of the club.

– Finally, the knuckles of the index and middle fingers should be visible when looking from the top onto the lead hand. There should also be a “V” shape created by the thumb and index forefinger of the lead hand with its tip directing toward the other hand and shoulder.

Putting

This is the finest and most intricate part about golf play and involves finally coaxing the ball into the golf hole. In a sentence, putting is all about feel and touch. That said, putting is also a little more innovative in respect to the golfer compared with any other shot. There are innumerable styles of putting because whatever consistently puts is whatever works for the individual. The process is much less important in this part of the game.

By and large though, general principles are as follows:

– Putters should be ultra comfortable in terms of length and lie angle

– Gripping during putting should be slightly different compared to driving, chipping, slicing or teeing. The golf club should usually sit in the hollow of the palm of the lead hand with the thumb of the other resting across (as opposed to straight) the shaft.

– Ball position should be towards the forward heel with toes parallel to the target hole. One’s eyes should be over the ball in order to aim and ascertain accurately the line of sight in alignment with the putt.

– Judging the putter path is something which is very hard to teach and narrate. However, one that travels a little inside on the back stroke and then down the line on the forward motion usually works wonder. On the backstroke, one has to ensure that the putter face remains square and does not fray wide open.

– Post putting with the non-lead hand, revert to putting practice using both hands however making strokes with grip pressure mainly on the non-lead palm.

The preliminary steps above should be able to get any rookie up and running at least onto the range and short games…the rest comes with heaps and heaps of club time always keeping the fundamental rules in mind.
