I took all of my drivers to the pro shop and hit a few balls with on their indoor video range with each club. I could not hit a ball to save my life. The popped strait up or i topped them the hooked or sliced. they went every where but strait down the fairway. I hit about 5% strait down the fairway. I tried the TaylorMade Burner Superfast and 90-95% went strait down the fairway and gave me 20-50 yards further yardage. I had about 5% pop up duff, hook or slice. I had such a large improvement I had to buy it. I love it.

I had a Great Big Bertha before and had stopped playing golf regularly years ago. I started back to once or twice per month this past summer. I hit the GBB about 330-350 yards and now I hit the Superfast 370+. It’s a good club for me as I am tall- 6′4″- and the shaft is longer than others on the market. If I have one complaint (and it’s not a legitimate one) it is that the club is deafeningly loud when I hit the ball. It’s so loud that it literally makes your ears ring like after a gunshot. Either way I do like the club and would recommend it to any average golfer that likes to hit long off the tee.

This is the best fairway wood  I have every played. Most people exaggerate how much yardage they gain with new clubs, but I can honestly say that this club has added 20 yards to my drives. I’ve gone from a 260 yd hitter to 280! Goes straight but is easy to control as well. Great fairway wood!

The unique sole design allows a larger, more stable clubhead and a larger face – more than 10% larger than the face of the Big Bertha 454 Driver. The new X-Sole Design allows the clubhead to rest on two distinct points of the sole, preventing any rocking back and forth for consistent alignment to your intended target. The Patented Callaway Golf Technologies – S2H2 and Tru-Bore- make this club hit longer than others. The Short Straight Hollow Hosel (S2H2) allows Callaway Golf’s engineers to take the useless weight found in the hosel and reposition it in the clubhead where you need it most, allowing you to hit the ball harder without swinging harder. Tru-Bore means the shaft is closer to the hitting area, providing better feel and clubhead control. The CT/VFT face creates ball speed up to the USGA limits of characteristic time.
