TaylorMade ROSSA DA-12 Ghost Line Tour Putter Review

Article by Gracelee

Recently TaylorMade launched the new tour-proven Ghost range called the Raylor Ghost series. The Raylor Ghost line includes three different models consisting of one blade type, the DA-12 whilst the FO-72 and CO-72 are mallet based. For all three models TaylorMade has built upon its white colour body concept, successfully recognised as the Ghost line’s distinctive feature. Today we mainly take the view of the TaylorMade ROSSA DA-12 Ghost Tour Putter.

This putter is constructed from SUS304 soft stainless steel and features a unique white finish that stands out against green grass. This combined with the 3 black sight lines will improve visual acuity. Discount Golf Clubs for Sale Its Red Titalium AGSI+ Tour insert reduces skidding at impact and promotes a quicker forward roll, resulting in more consistency and accuracy. 6 movable weights will allow for fine tuning. The iron is the old Daytona style with a blade head, full-shaft offset, and takes a straight shaft.

Additionally, the newly extended back helps to provide consistent alignment. The black rails have been designed to emphasize the positioning of the ball central to the putter face. They also encourage the path the putter will take on the backstroke as the rails clearly indicate the target line.

The Ghost series, has evolved from the knowledge and guidance of world renowned putting coach Dave Stockton. Stockton has promoted the necessity for good alignment, solid and soft feel as well as good stability within the stroke.

Main Features:* Deep center of gravity produces smooth, non-skid roll* Large Titallium insert improves feel, feedback and distance control* Heavy tungsten rods position weight toward the heel and toe, improving stability and accuracy

At address, we can see,”Tour “stamp on face and sole, as seen in the photos! 3 sightlines for easy alignment, and adjustable weighting (same as used in the Kia Ma putters!!). UST Frequency Filtered putter shaft is the best putter shaft on the market! If you are a “feel” player, this is the shaft you HAVE TO HAVE in your putter! Matching Ghost Series Headcover IS included. IOmic grip of your choice will be installed (limited to on-hand styles, but I have many!) I can accommodate any length, but standard will be 34″

Review on 2010 Callaway RAZR X Irons

Review on 2010 Callaway RAZR X Irons

Article by Gracelee

Built on Callaway’s popular X Series line, the RAZR X is designed to provide consistent distance and accuracy through the set. RAZR technology shifts the center of gravity lower and deeper in the clubhead, offering increased shotmaking from more places. The irons are also available in RAZR X Tour and RAZR X Forged models.

The all-stainless steel iron repositions 30 grams to the lower portion of the cavity, to create a large sweet spot in line with where average golfers strike the ball (low on the face). Cheap Golf Irons Consistent, high ball speeds combine with stronger lofts (long irons strengthened by 2°, short irons by 1°) to produce shots that fly 5 yards longer on average than X-22s.

Every single within the eight irons in your common RAZR X established are created utilizing a manufacturer new variable confront thickness technology, which can make the hitting place thinner when you proceed aside through the center. This element broadens the sweet place and maintains ball pace on off-center hits.

The center of gravity (CG) in the new 2010 Callaway RAZR X Irons is 12% lower and 15% deeper than the X-22, so shots hit lower in the face should fly higher. And because the CG is so low, Callaway designers were able to strengthen the lofts of the RAZR X irons to give you more distance. By lowering the CG, Callaway took away the undercut of the heel and the toe areas subsequently raised the MOI (Moment of Inertia), improving ball speed on less than desirable strikes.

A refined VFT Face and High-Definition Undercut cavity are tailored to each individual iron. The result is more consistent ball speeds across the face for more distance and accuracy, even on miss-hits.

The new irons will do well and for good reason. They are a game-improvement iron that has earned a Gold rating in Golf Digest Hot List for 2011 irons. And this iron will definitely do well for the average player looking for more distance and playability. The lower CG will be a good fit for golfers looking to get their irons airborne quicker to get more distance.

Taylormade Rossa Siena 4 Putter is your best choose

Taylormade Rossa Siena 4 Putter is your best choose

Article by delia

Taylormade Rossa Siena4 Putter are engineered with an exceptionally deep centre of gravity (CG) to enhance launch conditions, thereby improving performance. The idea for the Rossa CGB putter line was inspired by the tour-proven Rossa Monza. When Rossa engineers designed the Monza they succeeded in creating a deep and low CG position, facilitated by Monza’s large, trapezoidal shape, which permitted the use of heavy tungsten-filled Titallium rods to position weight deep in the head, well away from the face.

This deep-back CG positioning dramatically enhanced the Monza’s launch conditions, producing a noticeably smoother roll. After the Monza was developed, the next challenge for Rossa engineers quickly became clear: Find a way to duplicate Monza’s enhanced launch conditions in a classically shaped putter. Rossa succeeded by developing two key design improvements.

The first key Taylormade Rossa Siena4 Putter improvement involves the dramatic expansion of Rossa’s Titallium face insert, renowned for its remarkable feel, to 43% larger than previously used. This larger insert offers two significant benefits. One, because Titallium is so much lighter than steel, the larger insert allowed Rossa engineers to reallocate 43 grams normally positioned in the face into the back of the putterhead, moving the CG back. Two, this larger insert delivers improved feel at impact than the previous Rossa Sport model. The second key CGB putter improvement came in the form of tungsten CG rods inserted into the rear side of each putter.

These CG rods and CG plugs serve to concentrate weight into strategic areas that helps to shift the CG even farther down and toward the back of the putterhead. Cast of soft 304 stainless steel every model features a milled face for perfect flatness; milled portals into which the CG rods and CG sleeves are inserted, ensuring a perfect fit; and a sleek Tuscan Nickel finish that looks great and reduces glare.

Futures:

1. AGSI+ technology insert with 14 grooves positioned closer together promote more efficient forward spin for a smoother roll 2. Heel-toe weighting increases MOI for greater forgiveness and straighter putts on mis-hit 3. 304 stainless steel construction with a midnight black finish offer premium quality and aesthetic appeal

Titleist Studio Select Newport 1.5 Putter with the finest technical performance

Titleist Studio Select Newport 1.5 Putter with the finest technical performance

Article by Cheapgolf

Well, I told you guys that today I was going through a fitting with golf. First of all, I wanted to say that all the guys I worked with were just awesome dudes.

I tried some different shafts. And I’ve been blessed my entire life in so many ways. And while I’ve had my challenges, my ups, my downs, and my just regular days – I get up each day grateful for the challenges ahead, and the chance to challenge myself to perform better, to compete, and to do what I love each day.

The factory adjustable weights are set to provide the proper headweight-to-shaft length combination. The improved high toe profile of the Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 1.5 Putter (=http://www.buygolfsets.com/goods-950-Titleist+Scotty+Cameron+Studio+Select+Newport+15+Putter.html) features a stepless shaft for a clean look and offer a soft but solid feel and are equipped a new Scotty Cameron red cord grip. The Studio Select line is the result of Scotty Cameron’s Putter research and their drive to create a putter collection with the finest technical performance and incredible overall feel.

I have always loved the way the the Newports have set up and felt but the only thing that has turned me off from them is that they are really light putter and I have always liked a heavier putter, but after reading this I might take a look at these.

For those of you who didn’t like the German Stainless Steel (GSS) insert on the Studio Style line, it is now a thing of the past. The Studio Select putters are milled from a block of 303 stainless steel and provide a slightly different feel and sound compared to the GSS insert of the Studio Style. I actually grew to like the insert of the Studio Style so this was a little bit of change for me. More on that later.

I really like the direction Scotty Cameron Studio Select is going with all the customization options you can make to the Studio Select line. Being able to chose a weight/length combination that is the best for your individual putting stroke makes this a must-try when you are out shopping for putters. I found this to be a very solid performer and if you like a blade-style putter, you owe it to yourself to give one a shot.

The Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter is the result of Scotty Cameron’s Putter research and their drive to create a putter collection with the finest technical performance and incredible overall feel. The precision milled 303 Stainless Steel Newport putters feature an improved high toe profile and heel and toe circular sole weights that allow for numerous length options in each model.Design For those of you who didn’t like the German Stainless Steel (GSS) insert on the Studio Style line, it is now a thing of the past. I actually grew to like the insert of the Studio Style so this was a little bit of change for me. More on that later.Performance & FeelI’m not sure what the difference between German vs. American stainless steel (or any other country’s stainless steel for that matter) but I had grown accustomed to the soft feel of the insert and almost hated to see it go. After two years of getting used to that particularly soft feel and the more muted sound, I noticed an immediate change when I switched to the all-milled Studio Select. I adjusted, but it took a few rounds. Overall, the putter is easy to handle and is one of the best golf clubs I have ever met.

Scotty Cameron has pretty much held the same weight/length characteristics with his various Newport lines over the years with few exceptions. For the most part, the 33″ length was matched with a 350-gram head, the 34″ with a 340-gram head, and the 35″ getting a 330-gram head. Other than swapping shafts with a heavier head (or vise versa), you were pretty much stuck with whatever weight head came with the correct shaft length for your physical makeup and putting stroke. For those of us who prefer a little more heft in our putter head and don’t want to use lead tape, the new Studio Select line fits us perfectly. The Studio Selects feature removable weights that let you fine-tune the weight that works best for you.I’ve spent the last two years using a Studio Style Newport 2 and really like the softer feel of the insert, so even though the Studio Select Newport 2 looks similar, I was a little hesitant to give up the feel to which I’d become accustomed. Read on to find out if I ditched the insert and went all milled.

Useful Golf Putter Choosing Tips

Useful Golf Putter Choosing Tips

Do you know that 50% of your game comes from the putting green? So, as a golfer, no matter weekend or pro, you must get a right golf putter to improve your game. In spite of spending inordinate time to practice with their driver for long-distance shots, those golf beginners can still not improve game quickly. In fact, making effort to practicing putting is the most important respect.

Of course, even many experienced pros often meet trouble with putting, sometimes they lose tournaments due to the putting woes. So if you are a beginner or high handicapper, be sure to pay attention to your putting skills, and get a right putter for yourself.

It’s not a simple work to get the right putter cause there are too many types and styles of putters available in the markets, such as Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter, Odyssey White Hot XG 2 Ball F-7 Putter and Ping iWi Series CRAZ-E putter…At times it can even get a little overwhelming when you see all the different kinds of putters that are in use. So, how to choose from among them all? How the hell do you know which one is the best for you?

And the truth is that there is no standard answer that can be provided. Finding the perfect putter for your individual game is something that only you can do by trial and error. (I’m sorry)     It may require using several different kinds of putters over a long period of time before you can decide on which one works best for you.

With all of that said, there are some basic things that you need to know about putters to be able to make the best choice. The first has to do with the kind of material that is used for the putter head. Since putting has more to do with feel than perhaps any other type of golf shot, the material that is used for the putter head will be very important. The confusing part is that putters are often made from all sorts of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and much more. So which is best for you?

Again, this is something that only you can decide by experimenting with different types of putters yourself. Many golf pro shops and golf equipment retail stores carry a wide variety of putters that you can try out in the store. It’s not a bad idea to take advantage of this opportunity to get familiar with the different types and styles of putters that are available.

Another consideration when selecting a putter is the putter head shape. Generally speaking, most putter head shapes fall into two basic categories, either blade or mallet. You’ll see golfers of all different kinds of skill levels using putters with either head shape. A blade putter sort of looks like a small hockey stick, and they can come in all kinds of designs including the solid flat blade and also cavity-back designs to help keep the putter head straight through impact.

The second putter head shape to consider is the mallet putter. These are easy to recognize because they usually have a head that is larger and more round. The weight is often distributed throughout the putter to help provide a more consistent putting stroke.

As you can see, there are plenty of choices to be made when selecting a golf putter. Hopefully this information will help you understand more about the choices that you have when choosing a putter, but only you can make the final decision by using it yourself.
