How to put Videos on the PSP

How to put Videos on the PSP

Article by Richard Black

Hello Everyone!

The PSP is a great way to carry music, photos, games and movies around on a small, little, portable device. And it’s reasonably simple to put music and such onto the flash memory. But I did a search on Google recently and was shocked to find hardly any articles on how to put videos on the PSP (which is probably the trickiest thing). I wrote this article to help those struggling with putting videos onto the PSP.

There are two ways to get videos onto your PSP. A simple way, and a more complex way. The simple way is… well… simple. Head on over to pspvideo9.com and download the software. PSP Video 9 is probably the best and most effective way of converting and putting videos onto your PSP. It’s free as well, which is a great bonus.

The other way is to do it the ‘nerdy-er’ way. The steps for that are below.

When you format a new memory stick for your PSP, you get subfolders for the following: ‘game’, ‘music’, ‘photos’ and ‘savedata’. You will note that there is no folder for ‘video’! What? What’s up with that? Oh well, doesn’t matter, we can always fix it.

1. Make a new folder in the root directory (the first folder that pops up when you open the drive on your computer) called MP_ROOT.

2. Open MP_ROOT.

3. Create a new folder called (without the full-stop) 100MV01.

4. So, all your.MP4 files need to do in the 100MV01 folder, which will be in MP_ROOT. For all the people that love more complex stuff, the.MP4 files go in E:\MP_ROOT0MV01 where E:\ is the drive letter of your memory stick.

5. Next, your videos will will need to be converted to PSP format… which leads us back to pspvideo9.com. If you can be bothered NOT using their way of organizing videos, simply put the converted video to the file E:\MP_ROOT0MV01. Done!

Now, all you have to do, is on the PSP menu, navigate to ‘Video’ and press O. There is your video (or videos!)! Play it by pressing O.

To sum up: pspvideo9.com is the best way to both convert and manage your digital video on the PSP. Sony does not make it easy to put videos on the PSP, but it can be done several ways. Thank you for reading.

How to put games into your R4

How to put games into your R4

Article by Saphia

This is a site that can help you with your R4 problem!

DS fans who have heard of the R4 must have had a strong desire for it. I myself am an owner of an R4, and I know that the first few minutes of using it can be hard, especially putting games into it. There aren’t that man complications to the R4, it’s just that sometimes, the R4 doesn’t come with detailed pamphlet explaining how to put games into the R4, and this article will help with that.

Required items:

R4 Chip

Micro SD Card (Comes with R4)

USB for SD Card (Comes with R4)

Computer or Laptop with USB ports

A program that can read.rar files. Click here to take you to WinRar download.

1. Your R4 should have come with a USB with a little slot at the end of it. You must insert your Micro SD card into the little slot.

2. Connect the USB into your computer or laptop and open the contents of the USB. (You can go to Computer, then double click on the icon of the USB.)

3. Go to the internet and find a website that has NDS roms you can download. You can go to Google and type in “NDS Roms” or “Nintendo DS Roms” and you should get some good websites. I usually use Romulation, which has many NDS roms for your R4.

Alert!:You need to have Winrar installed on your computer, or else you cannot use the games you download!Go to the top of the page and click on the link that takes you to Winrar download page!

4. If you go to Romulation, then go to “Downloads” and then click on “Nintendo DS”. I recommend signing up, as guests can only download limited games, and it’s free registration!

5. In the search box, (It should be somewhere in the top right corner) type in the game you want.

6. Click on the one you want from the results and click on the yellow “Download” tab. Then, click on either US Server 1 or 2, it doesn’t matter. I recommend saving on the desktop.

7. After the download is complete, the file should look like a pile of books. If it doesn’t, then you haven’t downloaded Winrar. Right click on the file and select “Extract files Here”. A window should pop up and you can press enter. The extraction will start and a folder will appear on your desktop.

8. Go back to the window with your USB stuff and make a folder called “Games”.

9. Open the folder on the desktop and you should find the NDS file inside. Copy the icon and paste it into the “Games” Folder you made.

10. Take out your USB and you can now delete all of the stuff you downloaded, put the Micro SD card back in the R4 chip and play it on your DS! Enjoy!

How to Find Cheap Womens Golf Clubs

How to Find Cheap Womens Golf Clubs

Article by Stewart Green

Womens golf clubs are available in all shapes and sizes, so to speak. You can literally find cheap ones wherever you go. Whether you are looking at your local sports stores or on the internet, you’re bound to find cheap clubs for women. One thing that you have to do first is to get fitted. No cheap club will do you justice nor an expensive club be worth the money if it is not made solely for the person who will use it. That being said, try to get some opinions from the experts – and there are no better people than the outfitters.

When you’re talking to fitters, you always have to keep their recommendations in mind. From them, you can get neat ideas as to what golf clubs you should use. The different recommendations of different fitters will give you more choices. For instance, if one suggests a Mizuno while the other would suggest a Titleist, then you can choose the latter since it would be a cheaper club while the former is better in terms of quality. Don’t take my word for it – those are merely examples. The choice is still up to you.

At any rate, you can try on the clubs that they suggest for size. If the fitter you’re talking to is in a golf gear store, and the club he recommended is in their inventory, you can try to do a few air swings. If the club feels right in your hands, then you can mark it down as a potential purchase. Do the same thing for the other suggestions, and then go back home with a list of what you may buy soon; but not without taking note of the prices as well.

Google the clubs that you listed down, and try to see which method of purchase is cheaper. If you can find cheaper clubs online, which you likely will, then you can purchase the clubs from online. If the prices of online and offline clubs are similar, then it is better that you buy them from your local store, since it will be more convenient if you need repairs and such.

Finding cheap womens golf clubs is easy. The hard part is knowing what club is for you. It is easy to find a golf club that you like, but the club doesn’t like you. For you to play great golf, you have to make sure that you are swinging the clubs that’s meant for you.

Sources for Choosing Your Golf Clubs

Sources for Choosing Your Golf Clubs

Article by T.L.Stewart

When purchasing new golf clubs most of us know it is not an easy project, but doing it correctly will pay great dividends in the end.

Research is the key to open up a multitude of avenues including giving some golf clubs a tryout which is essential in making the correct choices.

Keeping this in mind you should be very specific in your choices and make sure you choose the proper resources. Stores specializing in golf products are an excellent choice but you can’t always rely on the store salesman, some know what they are talking and some don’t. Remember the old saying; “buyer beware”.

Following are a few thoughts on searching out the best resources for choosing golf clubs and how take advantage of them.

Since you are reading this article you no doubt are aware of the power of the internet. The internet will provide a multitude of sources dependent on the special features you are looking for including custom clubs made to your specifications. You can find many sources catering to your specific needs.

Just use google or any other search engine. Very Simple. As you look around the web you will find some sites more appealing than others and some providing more information than most. The sites you find that are most interesting and appear to satisfy your needs should be bookmarked for future use.

A word of caution here. It is suggested you stick with the sites you may be familiar with by name or recommended by reliable sources. Your chance of being satisfied with your purchases will be much higher. Also, if you subscribe to or have access to a few golf magazines there is usually an article or section offering guidelines for buying golf clubs or reviews of the latest additions to the market. If you are interested in a major brand it would be a good idea to search the golf magazines or back to the internet for any professional critiques on the golf club of your choice. Reviews are fairly easy to come by. Just go the internet and click on the home pages of the golf magazines or search for “review of xxxx” However, be aware you may run across good and bad reviews so be very selective in making a pro or con decision. Be sure you separate the advertisements from the reviews.

Another great source is your local golf club you play at. I’m sure there are may golfers using some of the same clubs you are interested in and they can provide some excellent performance information. They may even offer to let you try a few.

Another good source is to visit some of the golf forums on the internet. These are folks that have a love for the game and are usually responsive to your questions or when asking for advice.Forums are a source you should actively get involved with. It gives you a chance to meet and share with fellow golfers with the same interest. You can always get some good ideas.

Giving all the above the consideration it deserves keep in mind the best way in choosing a golf club is to try one out yourself. It would be great if you can get one to use on the range, but I know this is not always possible. However, I know several golf stores have hitting nets and the customer is always welcome to try out new golf clubs. Some of them even have equipment that will time the speed of your swing, etc.

All in All there are many sources for meeting your specific needs but remember whatever club you choose it won’t make a difference unless you practice, practice, practice.

How To Get The Most Out Of PSD-to-HTML Slicing Services

How To Get The Most Out Of PSD-to-HTML Slicing Services

In web development projects when it comes to turn .psd, .ai, etc designs into xHTML/CSS code, a common option will be to use PSD-to-HTML slicing services. And a natural question raising here is: How to get the most out of them?

PSD-to-HTML services are quite easy to deal with: you send or upload image files on a provider website, select conversion and layout options, pay through an online payment system (PayPal, Google Checkout, etc), and get a resulting markup coded. But in order to make the most of it and avoid unnecessary troubles it is better to follow some simple rules.

Properly prepare designs for uploading
1. If you have several files to convert, archive them and give that archive an understandable name, for example, “AnnSmith23June2009.zip” (i.e. “YourNameDate.zip” or “ProjectNameDate.zip”). It can be convenient for you as well, especially in case you need to check your previous orders.
2. If there are files additional to your main .psd image (e.g., custom fonts), don’t forget to send or upload them too.
3. Make sure you send or upload right files. PSD-to-HTML services are very fast, and by the moment you notice the problem with your files your markup may be ready. As a result, it could cost you some money to correct a mistake.

Design slicing, xHTML/CSS conversion requirements
1. Try to explain as accurate as possible what you want to get. Usually an order form on PSD-to-HTML websites has special subsections and items to help you with this task.
2. Nevertheless, if your requirements cannot be described in this way or you don’t have time to use it, don’t hesitate to write down your requirements in a field named like “Notes” or use other communication channels convenient for you: live chat or email.
3. If you are confused with something (“Is that option included? What is the delivery time?” etc), ASK! Sometimes even friends and relatives see things differently. So it is better to ask and to be sure that you and your provider get everything right and in the same manner.

Communication
1. DOUBLE check your email address which you mention in the order form.
2. Make sure that your anti-spam filters and email servers are not too overzealous and allow the provider’s emails reach you.
3. It depends on the provider but usually they send you an order confirmation (as well as your login and password to access a client zone on their website). If you don’t receive such an email during several minutes, contact the provider through the order form or live chat — the reason may be a misprint in your email address.
4. Just in case give the provider’s team an alternative communication channel (mobile telephone number, instant messenger (Skype, MSN, ICQ), etc).
5. If time is crucial for you, specify the PSD-to-xHTML/CSS provider’s time zone.

If there are any doubts
1. If it is your first PSD-to-HTML project or you select a provider for long-term cooperation, start from a relatively small pilot project to test the waters.
2. Check the provider’s Returns Policy, e.g., whether they provide a money-back guarantee.
3. If it is important for you, don’t hesitate to ask for NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
4. Specify whether they offer after-sale support and what it means. If the provider is confident of their work, usually the technical support is free.

Change management
1. A small addition to .psd designs may lead to large modifications in xHTML/CSS code. If the process of PSD-to-HTML conversion is in progress or finished and you change your design, be objective while estimating changes to be made in the markup.
2. Small changes are usually free.
3. But if changes are large then it is like an additional page in your order and should be paid accordingly (note: usually prices on secondary pages are up to 50% discounted).
4. If you are not sure, talk to the provider — together you will find a reasonable and mutually beneficial solution faster.

Project completion
1. Check the finished xHTML/CSS markup how it corresponds to your design and conversion requirements. If there are some remarks or defects, ask the provider to fix them.
2. Change access rights to your servers (passwords, logins) if you gave it to the provider’s team.
3. If you think the provider has deserved your testimonial, give it. You will support a qualified and diligent PSD-to-xHTML/CSS provider in the market and help other users to get to know them.

PSD-to-HTML services are just a tool to slice and convert designs into website markups, WordPress themes or Drupal templates. The better you know how to work with them the more you get.

How to Put Music on the PSP

How to Put Music on the PSP

Article by Andrew Summits

Do you have a nice new PSP, but you can’t figure out how to put music on it? I will show you how easy it is to put your music onto your PSP, so you’ll be rocking out in style in no time.First, you are going to need a CD ripper. There are plenty of CD rippers on the internet, you should have no trouble finding one on Google. Download and install it. This program will “rip” files from a CD onto your computer, so if you already have music files on your computer you could skip this and the next step.

Now that you have the CD ripper, you will need to “rip” the CDs. Put your CD into your CD drive, and follow the specific instructions for whatever program you are using to rip the CD into a easy to find location on your computer.

Next, you will actually transfer the music. With a USB cable, you will connect your PSP to your computer. Now, click on the start menu, and find “My Computer” and click on it. Find the icon for your PSP, double click on it, and create a new folder called “Music”. In another window, have open the folder where you transferred all of your music to. Now, you will highlight all of this music, and drag it into your other window where you have open the “Music” folder on your PSP.

You’re all done! If you’re looking for content for your PSP, such as music, videos, games, and more, I recommend PSP Blender. I have used it to fill my PSP with all kinds of content I enjoy everyday. With it, you can also download a program that will rip your CDs, put them in a nice format for your PSP, and transfer them, essentially everything that I covered in this article. Its a great program and I would recommend it to anybody.

Where to Buy Golf Clubs?

Where to Buy Golf Clubs?

Over the past two decades, the golf equipment industry has exploded into a billion dollar business. A wide array of manufacturers use advanced physics, space-age materials, and rigorous testing to develop golf clubs that claim to lengthen your drives, eliminate your slice, and hone your putting. With an endless number of golf clubs on the market, a consumer must navigate through a sea of options to find the golf clubs best suited to his or her needs.

There are a number of options. Clubs can be purchased, obviously, at any number of retailers, including national sporting chains or more golf-focused stores and others. Pro shops at golf courses around the country offer not only golf clubs for purchase but additional services such as swing analysis and custom-fitting.

The Internet also provides a number of opportunities for purchase; a simple Google search for “golf clubs” or similar terms will result in hundreds of results, ranging from small Mom-and-pop sites to brand-focused retailers that offer high-end, new and pre-owned drivers, putters, and irons.

Here I want to talk about the Mizuno JPX 800 Irons. Its look from address and solid feel at impact will have single figure players questioning their choice of iron. This Hot Metal process allows the JPX800 to hit the maximum allowable limits for energy transfer, far exceeding previous Mizuno irons.

The visible distance gains of the JPX800 irons are achieved by combining Mizuno’s Hot Metal approach – incorporating a new manufacturing process for a thinner, more uniform iron face. It delivers the magical combination of being Mizuno’s most forgiving and longest iron of all time. The JPX800’s look from address and solid feel at impact will have single figure players questioning their choice of iron.

eBay is a fantastic resource for bargain hunters; nearly 2,000 complete sets were available as of this writing, for men and women, left-handed and right-handed players. Though shipping is an issue (shipping costs for a full set of golf clubs, including golf bag, runs around to ), the price of new store-bought sets makes eBay an essential stop for bargain hunters or for golfers who don’t play often enough – or well enough – to justify spending several hundred dollars on a new set of clubs. Sellers on eBay offer both new and used clubs, often discounted several hundred dollars off the retail price offered in many retailers.

The JPX800 achieves all this within a mid-size head which presents itself even more compactly and versatile thanks to a triple cut sole design. In the end, I have to say, this iron is a good club, especially for the price, would recommend to a mid-high handicapper or for someone who wants more distance and height.
