WE NEED TO BE HEARD!!!
I am a member of golf’s lower 99. I am an indifferent golfer, and there’s no way I could ever make it to the professional level. I will never put in the practice time to be the best I will never have the shots, skills, or mental toughness to “make it” in the sport. I just never felt like working all that hard at it.
However, I am a part of the golfing community and, as such, feel I should be paid by the top 1% of golfers for what I do. It isn’t fair that those players who have worked harder, have studied the game, have better equipment and are more skilled and dedicated should make all that BIG money.
Where’s my share? I’m a Victim!
The top 1% should pay for my club memberships and green fees and lessons, buy me new clubs, balls, clothes and shoes, and pay me some of their winnings. They can afford it. They are “The Rich.” The whole system should be changed to accommodate people like me. I think we should get together and occupy a golf course and demand that those who are better at what they do, pay for us who generally suck.Whining should get us something – maybe we’ll make the cover of Time Magazine, garnish some public sympathy. Hell, during this election year, we may even get a law or two passed by legislators who want our votes.

If you want to buy golf clubs for someone, you would probably do better to give them a gift certificate or coupon so that they can choose them on their own.
Another gift that is great for golfer’s are some sort of trip to a golf course that they would really enjoy going to. Sometimes an avid golfer doesn’t have the time (or doesn’t give himself enough of a break) to visit some of the nicer or more exotic golfing locations. If you really want to surprise and delight a golfer, you should plan a golfing vacation to one of the nicer locations in the world.
Maybe a place where you can golf for most of the day, then swim in the ocean for a few hours before heading to your deluxe hotel. Usually if you plan it right you can keep the cost from being too insanely high, but most of the time it is better to indulge yourself and spend what it takes to have a great time.

While clone golf clubs are cheap golf clubs, they are NOT cheaply made golf clubs. Clone golf clubs, which are rapidly getting the notice of the golfing community, are simply generic versions of the best Callaway, Cleveland, and other high-end golf clubs now available. And like the generic versions of some of the most expensive prescription drugs, they offer all the effectiveness of the originals, at a fraction of the original prices.
Every golfer who plays regularly fantasizes from time to time about how much better he or she could be with a golf bag full of the same clubs which are carted around in the wake of the PGA or LPGA pros every weekend. But unless you are able to spend thousands of dollars on a set of cutting-edge name brand clubs, your fantasy will have to remain a fantasy, or so you think.
But you are entitled to think again, because by choosing clone golf clubs over their name brand counterparts, you can save more than 50% on the price of your clubs, and sometimes considerably more. How is this possible?
Most of us in the US, even though we live in a consumer-driven economy, often forget that one of the biggest factors involved in the price of the consumer goods we buy is the cost of advertising. The top of the line golf clubs are, of course, painstakingly designed and engineered, and produced from the finest materials. But once they are ready for use, they are put in the hands of high-priced touring pros who then endorse the clubs, and that kind of marketing does not come cheap.
