Golf Tips: 5 Golf Tips From PGA Pros

Golf Tips: 5 Golf Tips From PGA Pros

You can find golf tips absolutely everywhere. You can find them all over the internet, on TV as well as from many of your buddies. The trick is finding golf tips for a qualified source. A good bet is to stick with the Top 100 teachers or a local PGA Member.

These golf instructors are training in how to teach the game of golf and must be tested in order to teach with the PGA of America.

Here are 5 golf tips from PGA Professionals that will help you improve your game:

1. I want to start these golf tips by de-bunking a few myths first. Keep your head down and keep your eye on the ball at all times is what all of us have heard in old school golf tips. With your left arm locked and your chin on your chest your chest, you are not ready to make any type of athletic move. What is that gal’s name? Oh yeah, Annika seemed to do okay (number one in the world and inducted into the LPGA Hall of Fame while she was still playing) and it was demonstrated at every single time she was on TV.

2. Balance is an overlooked part of the golf swing. You must be in balance at address or else you will need to manipulate the golf club during the swing. If you begin the swing out of balance, you are making swinging the golf club more difficult than it really is. To find your balance, take your stance and simply feel your weight go back and forth between your toes and your heels until you find your center. Once your center is found you may need to move closer or farther away from the golf ball with your feet.

3. The best way to find your alignment is by the line created by the tops of your thighs. This is much easier to monitor than you shoulders or your feet. Using the tops of your thighs allows you to align your base correctly with your target line.

4. Golfers usually make the mistake of trying to take the club to the top of their swing. The challenge is that with your spine being bent over, you do not need to take the club up. You need to take the golf club back or away from the target and not up. Taking the golf club up, will result in you becoming out of balance and taking the golf club too far back.

5. Staying on the theme of balance, once you are in your finish position, you should be able to hold your finish without wiggling on your feet or being so out of balance that your feet move.

Again, you can find golf tips anywhere on the internet, on TV or your buddies usually full of information. You need to make sure that you are receiving and implementing good information into your golf swing. Reading or watching golf tips from the top instructors or from a PGA Professional is your best bet to get good information and improve your golf swing.

The Importance of Golf Drivers

The Importance of Golf Drivers

Article by Jeremy Winters

Today the sport of golf is even more popular than ever before. There are actually people of just about all races and also every age getting involved with this enjoyable and competitive sport that the entire family can take pleasure in. The sport of golf has been around for hundreds of years and it is currently played in nearly every single country in the entire world.

One of probably the most important and vital items of equipment required for participating in this particular sport is the golf driver. These kinds of drivers are by far the most vital item of equipment necessary to help you make improvements to your “long game.” The potential to drive the golf ball over 250 yards with a single shot would not be attainable without having a good golf driver.

A lot of the leading professionals in this sport have made their name well known simply by their capacity to drive the ball long distances. Getting your ball to the hole in as few shots as you are able is among the primary strategies of winning in the sport of golf. This would not be possible without having the capability to hit very long shots or without having a quality driver.

A few of the key attributes that define a superb driver consist of: the speed that it can actually move the ball, the actual composition of the driver, the particular launch angle and also the aerodynamics of the golf driver itself. The quest to produce the best driver with all of these characteristics has filled the market with many unique brands of golf drivers. Golf drivers are mainly chosen for the longer shots that have to be made to the fairway.

Golf drivers can be bought in an assortment of compounds like stainless steel, alloys or even titanium. Not only is the material the driver is in fact constructed from important but the actual length of the driver itself is also very important. Titanium is one of the most popular metals drivers are manufactured from because it’s light in weight but in addition strong at the very same time. On the other hand a lot more experienced golfers might prefer the stainless steel driver because its heavier weight offers more control when swinging. Most expert golfers favor forged titanium drivers as they offer a greater tee off driving distance when compared with other drivers.

When shopping to buy a brand new golf driver you should take into account that though one specific driver may possibly work well for your friend it may not work very well for you personally. Qualities of your golf swing, just how strong your swing is and various other issues should be taken into consideration when purchasing this particular item of equipment. There are numerous custom fit choices that need to be considered when looking for the proper design.

After you obtain a driver that feels good and works effectively for you it will help you to boost your game not just by giving you much longer tee off distances but will in addition give you a boost of confidence that can help to improve your entire game.

Playing Your 1st Golf Round – The Putt

Playing Your 1st Golf Round – The Putt

Article by Mike D’Auria

The “Putt” is the stroke or shot in golf once your ball has landed on the green. This shot calls for rolling the ball toward the flagstick or cup if the flag has already been removed and is normally made using the putter. The putter is the club which has the least loft and a relatively flat face. If you have followed parts one thru eight in “Playing Your First Golf Round” then you have progressed from making your first tee time reservation, arriving at the golf course, the first tee jitters, hitting your clubs and progressing down the fairway and finally reaching the green. Congratulations!

There are two key ingredients to making a good putt, Speed and Direction. Because the green usually slopes in different directions it is key to learn how to read the slope of the green. The five main different types of putts normally encountered are Uphill, Downhill, Left To Right, Right To Left and Straight. For an uphill putt the ball must be struck harder in order to make it up the incline slope. The opposite holds true for a downhill putt because the ball will have a tendency to accelerate down the slope depending on the severity of the decline of that slope. A left to right putt will do exactly what it says – go from left to right. This means that you will aim your ball toward a target or line left of the cup and the opposite holds true for a right to left putt. The amount of distance left or right again depends on the severity of the slope of the green. There are also double breaking putts and even triple, which are usually associated with longer putts on very undulating greens, but that is a discussion for another time. When first starting to putt I would advise to aim directly at the cup or flagstick and experiment to get a feel for both speed and direction. These two ingredients of putting are critical to ultimately scoring well at golf. More than half of the total strokes of a persons score are usually made on the putting green.

I would strongly recommend that the beginning golfer spend some time on the practice green before teeing off and checking out the golf videos available on Putting if you want to accelerate your learning curve. It is not as easy as it looks to groove a really good putting stroke without some effort and PRACTICE, which is Key to all aspects of the game!

Good Luck with your game and Happy Golfing To All!

TaylorMade Golf Clubs Are Coming to You

TaylorMade Golf Clubs Are Coming to You

Article by Yumiko

TaylorMade is the No.1 Driver in golf, founded in 1979 by Gary Adams. TaylorMade Golf clubs have the best golf equipment including drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, putters, wedges, and golf balls. TaylorMade golf equipment is used by many PGA tour professionals, LPGA tour professionals, and golf professionals around the world. Golf equipment in Discount TaylorMade Golf clubs are trully fabulous. Today, I would like to share my experience with the TaylorMade Rossa Corza Ghost putter.

TaylorMade’s goal with Ghost was simple: Design a putter that’s easier to aim than any other. That’s where the white head comes in. Ghost’s “golf-ball white” color complements the white color of the ball, and also stands out easily and beautifully against green grass so you don’t have to strain to see the topline. That takes the strain off your eyes and promotes a calm and confident state of mind, according to an expert in the field of color perception, who TaylorMade consulted during the development of Ghost.   (online  golf  clubs)   black lines on the crown lend further alignment support. The two outer lines are spaced as far apart as the width of a golf ball. Position the ball between those lines when you address your putt with this putter and Ping K15 irons and you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to tell where the face is aiming. The elevated crown merges seamlessly with the top of the putterface, making the topline extremely easy to see.

The TaylorMade Rossa Corza Ghost features a golf ball white finish for more contrast against the grass below, three easy-to-see alignment lines, and a circular hole in the back, creating easier alignment and increased confidence. The outer lines are the exact width as a golf ball to produce a cleaner line-of-sight to your target line, while the circular hole provides a secondary alignment aid. The AGSI+ insert is constructed of Titallium to provide soft, yet solid feel while promoting smoother, quicker starting roll.

Putters come in all shapes and styles these days, from minimalist blades to high-MOI potato mashers, but nearly all of them have either a metallic or darkened finish. But TaylorMade golf clubs are set to release one of the most eye-catching putters in recent memory … and that’s the whole point of the Rossa Corza Ghost.

The goal of the Corza Ghost was to make it the easiest putter ever to aim. The white color stands out in sharp contrast against the greens’ grass, so the topline and leading edge are easy to focus on. And because all the areas of the Ghost are white, there are no “hot spots” or portions of the putter that draw the golfer’s attention away from the leading edge.

The TaylorMade Raylor Hybrid Golf Club – A Review.

The TaylorMade Raylor Hybrid Golf Club – A Review.

Article by Michael LaVaglio

The TaylorMade Raylor has been with us since 1988 and is reputed to be the favorite utility wood amongst players from time immemorial. This club was particularly adept at rescuing those, “gone into the rough”, tee shots and returning them to, or close to, the course. The club’s steel head is rounded and has a very low center of gravity, the sole of the club has a pair of distinctive tracks, the function of these is to assist the club in gliding effortlessly through long grass and at the same time dragging and twisting is resisted. 2009 saw the launch of the hybrid Taylor Made Raylor and it is proving to be a great improvement on the original design. This new Raylor hybrid club is available in two loft angles 19 and 22 degrees. The club has two main attributes that work together to provide its efficiency in making those shots from the rough.1. The leading edge is lightly sharpened and pointed slightly, this permits a sliding action through the grass to address the rear of the golf ball.2. The sole of this club, known as the “Raylor sole”, has a ship’s hull like form, this has the effect of parting the grass blades producing a clean glide swing with little or no resistance or snagging. With the combination of the Raylor sole and the leading edge design there is a 23% reduction in the area of the section of the clubs head that would cause other clubs to stall or twist. The radius of the Raynor sole can also assist you when making shots from sidehill lies. This radius measures 17 degrees as compared to a Burner Rescue hybrid club’s 10 degrees this actually provides an additional 70% extra (heel and toe side) sole relief making a more solid contact with the golf ball when it is under or above your feet. The Raylor hybrid has a RE*AX 65 gram shaft and is an inch more in length than is usual for other TaylorMade Rescue clubs of matching loft angles. This added length adds further assistance to velocity and purchase when attempting shots from the rough.

How To Play an Intelligent Game of Golf

How To Play an Intelligent Game of Golf

Article by Martin Romano

Golf is a sport that can be so challenging. It is a game played with strategy which requires a combination of physical effort and mental intelligence. If you think golfers just look beyond the landscape and hit the ball at random then you are wrong. This is a game wherein the player wins by putting the golf ball in the designated hole with the least number of strokes. That sounds easy but once you get on the fairway it can get very difficult and frustrating.

Golfers love the sport because it involves a lot of exercise like walking and twisting of the body. It is also mentally challenging thinking of how to drive the ball into the tiny hole you can see only from a distance. You have to calculate in your mind factors like distance, wind speed and the number of strokes it will take to achieve your goals.

Seasoned players took years to perfect their games. They did not just learn on their own. They also sought the help of other golfers. You can do some self study as well. You can get free information on the internet on how to play an intelligent game of golf. You can read articles and comments from other players where you can get sound advice on how to improve the quality of your strokes. There are also books offered on line that can help you with making the mental strategies you would need in playing the game.

Books like “Finally: The Golf Swing’s Simple Secret” written by JF Tamayo and “Zen Golf: Mastering the Mental Game” authored by Dr. Jose Parent, a PGA Tour Instructor are very effective reading material that can help you improve the way you play. It teaches you a new level of approach on how to play this sport. These books are offered and sold at http://www.IndoorGolfNets.org.

Simple Golf Swing Review

Simple Golf Swing Review

Article by Mike Mancini

Golf is a fun game and it’s a funny game. How so? Well, it’s a fun game because you are challenged constantly both mentally and physically. You get to play on nicely landscaped areas and you have the opportunity to enjoy a sport with friends, usually. However, it’s a funny game because it can be the most frustrating sport on the planet. You would think that hitting a golf ball would be one of the easiest things to do. Hitting it is one thing, but hitting it where you want is another story entirely. Enter in “The Simple Golf Swing”. David Nevogt, a golfer, golf instructor and golf writer has written an eBook claiming a simple, yet effective set of golf instruction that almost can anyone can use, regardless of skill. This Simple Golf Swing Review will detail Nevogt’s claims that bogey golfers can improve their scores by anywhere from seven to twelve strokes.

At first glance the eBook is relatively innocuous, in the sense that it simply is an eBook. After reading through it once, however, this Simple Golf Swing Review has come to realize that the method taught and the drills and techniques discussed are very simple and to-the-point. The author’s goal is to keep the golf instruction easy to understand, simple and quick and this definitely shows in the product.

However, how can an online book fix what golf instructors and people who I know are much better at the game than I have tried to fix? Well, the Simple Golf Swing Review has found that it does work for many, actually. The crux of the system is simplicity. Most golf swings, when analyzed, are images of elbows and arms and clubs all over the place. What the product does, though, is simplify the process by concentrating on the spine. Specifically, the spine is used as the central focus of the swing, keeping the swing consistent. The book takes you through some simple drills to do to help solidify this focus. The great thing about it is that it is an easy and quick way to get your swing going in the right direction. Straighter shots and bigger impact are two elements that you will come to see fairly quickly.

The Simple Golf Swing review is literally for anyone. Yes, it is geared toward the average or below average golfer, who doesn’t have hours and hours of time to spend on the driving range. It’s also for the golfer that doesn’t have hundreds of dollars to pay for instruction and it’s for those who want some of the fun back in their game. In addition, because of the drills and easy to understand system, along with bonuses that offers instruction on all aspects of the game, it is indeed a product that can be used by golfers across the board. If you want to improve your game, I would go grab it now!

The TaylorMade Rossa Corza Ghost Putter is made from 6061 T6 Aluminum while the Daytona and Fontana are made from soft SUS304 steel. All 3 models are available in 33 34 and 35″ lengths. Several distinct alignment features make the Ghost a superb option for players who struggle with aim. For starters, the white clubhead reduces “hotspots” caused by the sun so you can focus on the task at hand. The Rossa Corza Ghost Putter’s white body stands out against green grass, which allows you to clearly see the leading edge and topline. In addition, three black alignment lines “pop” against the white paint job. These lines they’re the same width as the ball) combine with the circular hole to point the way. Simple Basic Steps Of Using Driver (Ii)

Simple Basic Steps Of Using Driver (Ii)

Step 2: Address. When it comes to addressing the golf ball make sure you stand slightly further back from your golf ball, then when using your golf irons. The swing plane you create with a driver will be a significantly larger arc so if you stand too close your swing will feel too stiff and cause you to connect with the ball incorrectly. Open your feet stance out to be the same width as your shoulders and the heel of your front foot should be in line with the ball. This is slightly further forward than when using an iron.

Step 3: Posture. After completing your address you need to get yourself ready for that swing, your head should remain still with your eyes looking straight down at your TaylorMade Burner golf ball. Never look up from the ball to early, it can be tempting to watch your ball travelling through the air. If you do look up too early you will ruin your shot and likely just top the ball causing you to lose any distance.

Your hips need to be driving your swing Callaway FT i-Brid Irons, to ensure you are doing this move your hips towards the target when you make contact with the ball, this will also help you complete the correct follow through.

Tip 4: Correct Driver. Your golf driver can be your best friend in your golf bag so ensure you feel comfortable when using it, its best to try out a number of different golf drivers before you purchase one. Never purchase a driver because of the brand name or because it’s the most expensive, always try a few drivers out and purchase the one that feels the most comfortable. Swinging to hard will cause you to lose control of your shot, so slow down and stay controlled you will have better results.

I’m still saying that, this article is an easy article and just write for beginners. so… hope you enjoy it.
