I have been playing the FT-i for a couple of years; I tried FT-IQ the other day. After a few trips to the range and a round of golf, it would appear this is a better club in every way over the FT-i. The sound is far better; much more like a normal titanium faced club and much less clang. It is at least as straight as its predecessor and much longer. The ball flight is lower and more penetrating (a huge bonus in Texas winds) and on average I hit it about 20-25 yards longer. All in all, Callaway took a good club and improved it in every way.That is definitely the straightest driver I put my hands on and one of the longest as well; but definitely it is more straighter than longer.The sound also is very satisfying unlike the hollow, tinny sound I was used with the other FT’s I owned. I can honestly say this is the best I have ever used. Great work Callaway!This driver is incredible. It excels at hitting the ball straight as an arrow with piercing flight. I used it for the first time on the course and it was very forgiving. Swinging it feels really good and at address it looks easy to hit.
