Your core strength is a great area to focus on with golf drills and there is a really simple one that practically anyone will be able to do. Simply position yourself on your hands and toes with your body out straight (parallel to the floor, like a push up) and then lift your right arm and left leg up together while maintaining your balance. Hold them there for 15-20 seconds before lowering them and doing the same with the opposite hand and foot, do this 10 times for each combination of hand and foot.
For each drill that you work into your training program you need to be paying attention to how your body reacts, do any of the drills cause discomfort or are there areas of your body that could benefit from some extra fitness work on top of the drills? If you are able to identify these types of areas of your body and work on them with some targeted exercises you will find that you can quickly address these issues too.
Combining golf drills, exercise and regular play will ensure that you successfully lower your score and overcome any bad habits that have snuck into your game, so put in the little bit of extra effort and watch as it pays off for you on your scorecard.
