The Benefits of Antioxidants and Vitamins – A Personal Experience

The Benefits of Antioxidants and Vitamins – A Personal Experience

Article by Tony Luck

A few years ago I had never heard of antioxidants, and vitamins were something that were supposed to be good for you but were only to be found in vegetables – ugh! Today I am a relatively healthy 62 years old and I probably owe my life to antioxidants!

Two days before Christmas 1999 I suffered an attack of pancreatitis. I was rushed to hospital on Christmas eve and stayed in for 3 weeks, after which I was sent home with the doctors telling me that I had suffered a life-threatening illness which would probably occur again. Whereas most pancreatitis cases suffer because of excess drink or gallstones, I was a non-drinker and my gallbladder was fine, so I was classified as idiosyncratic; which basically means the doctors didn’t have any idea why I experienced the attack.

Two months later, as forecast I had another attack. This time I was in hospital for a month (it’s so boring!), hooked up to various tubes and unable to eat for the first 3 weeks, and once again I was told there was no cure.

When I got home I thought there must be some sort of treatment so I did some research on the Internet (thank God for the Internet!), and found a hospital that for 20 years had been successfully treating pancreatitis with antioxidants. That hospital was too far away, but the articles mentioned another that followed the same treatment and was nearer. So I went there and, to cut a long story short, I started on the course of antioxidants – vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, and methionine (which is actually an amino acid).

Thankfully the pancreatitis attacks have stopped. I have to be careful with my diet and drink is banned – which is not a problem. I now take so many vitamins that if you shook me I would rattle, but these wonderful antioxidants are fighting those free radicals or whatever caused my pancreatitis and I have been healthy for six years.

How to Improve Your Game of Golf

How to Improve Your Game of Golf

Article by Robert Cummings

There are numerous ways of improving your game of golf but first of all you need to know your weak points, enabling you to concentrate on improving them. However, as a beginner, this is not always so straightforward.

This is because you cannot actually see yourself when you strike the ball and it goes off in the opposite direction to where you intended it to go. This is where having a professional trainer or an experienced partner with you can help you immensely as they can observe your body movements and point out just where you are going wrong. But if you are not lucky enough to be accompanied, don’t despair, just simply take a video camera long with you and film yourself taking the shots you feel you need to improve on.

This is a great way of learning just what you need to do to put things right because you can play the video back as many times as you need to study your stance and the angle and speed at which you hit the ball.

If you have access to the Internet, why not do a search on golf techniques. You will discover many sites offering free training videos with professional players showing you how to do it the proper way.

So now you know how you should be doing it, take another look at your personal video, taking things a little at a time you will spot just where you are going wrong. It may be something as simple as the fact that you are not gripping your club correctly or misalignments in your stance at the end of your swing shot.

Now all you have to do is put this newly discovered information about how you should be playing the game into practice. Using your video camera again, act out the process of the good techniques you have just seen and record yourself again. I can hear you asking the question “WHY?” There is a good reason why this procedure should be followed and this is because things do not always feel the way they look.

Each and every one of us has physical limitations based on conditioning which is the reason why we practice. Our bodies have to be taught how to perform in the correct manner by putting our muscles through training and stretching exercises.

An example of this would be if your shoulders are tight. It may feel that you are drawing the club back to the height it should be when in fact it could be quite a bit lower than it needs to be for you to make your shot correctly. This is the main reason why recording yourself works well. You need to link up the visual and the kinesthetic forms. Once this is clearly in your mind you will no longer need the video recordings to help you.

Use a clear approach to connect the whole process to programming methods by describing the shot to yourself in a positive way.

Something along the lines of saying to yourself “draw back the club by twelve inches, imagine a line from the ball to the hole and swing with medium force in a fluid motion” works so much better than simply saying “don’t forget this time to aim and hit the ball a little less hard”.

Your subconscious mind does not comprehend negative commands. In fact, it works in the opposite way, so when you say “don’t forget this time to aim” it translates as “forget to aim” and this is exactly what you do.

Last but not least, we should mention pacing. Would you say it is better to work on one shot at a time or many shots simultaneously? In my opinion, if you are not yet advanced in your amateur game, it may prove more beneficial to work on multiple shots, thus improving your overall technique. It is advisable to get your posture and grip right from early on and then you can perfect the finer points of your game such as individual shots.

Perfect Your Golf Swing Alignment

Perfect Your Golf Swing Alignment

Article by Brad Myers

If you ask the players on the PGA Tour to name what they believe to be the most important golf fundamentals, there is no doubt that golf swing alignment would be towards the top of the list. However, most amateurs either do not know or do not admit how important golf swing alignment is to their success.

It is amazing how you always have certain things that stick with you that you have heard from your different instructors. On the topic of golf swing alignment, one of my old instructors used to say.You can have the biggest and boldest cannon and it does not mean anything to you if it is not aimed in the correct direction.. There are many sayings that I am sure that you have heard along these lines. Obviously, you can hit the perfect golf shot but if it is aimed 30 yards to the left of the target the results are not going to be to your liking.

Since golf swing alignment is a main fundamental to each and every golf shot, here are some simple exercises that you can quickly and easily do to check your golf swing alignment.

First, setup to a golf shot as you normally would and make sure you are comfortable. Now that you are ready to make your golf swing, place a tee directly behind each of your heels and push both tees all the way into the ground. Now move away from your setup and place a club.s shaft over both of the tees to create a straight line. Now, go behind your ball and look down the target line. Does it match what you thought?

This golf alignment exercise shows you exactly where you are aligning your feet. If your pictures do not match, then you can simply change or move the tees so they align correctly and then setup with the tees touching the back of your heels. If you were not aligned properly, do not be surprised that when you setup to your next shot with your heels properly placed that you will feel that you are aimed somewhere else. If your feet have been aligned incorrectly for a while, then it will feel quite strange when you do align them correctly. Keeping track of your alignment, your new feet position will become second nature in no time at all.

Another easy way to check your alignment is to assume your address position, remove your left hand from the club and simply point to a spot 10 yards to the left (for a right-handed golfer) of your target. Monitor where your arm and finger are pointing opposed to where your shoulders and hips are pointing. They should feel like they are creating a straight line. If you feel they are pointing to the left then you are prone to hit a push or a hook. If pointing to the right, you are prone to hit a pull or a slice.

As the PGA Tour players would agree, your golf swing alignment is one of the most important golf fundamentals for each golf shot that you take. You must check it often, because it’s very easy to align yourself incorrectly without even knowing it. That is why I would be surprised if you were on driving range at a PGA Tour stop and did not see several players with clubs on the ground to assist with their golf swing alignment. Now that you know exactly what you need to do to check your golf swing alignment, you should be hitting more golf shots at your target and lowering your scores.

Men – Should You “Multiple” Or “Serial” Date Or Is That A No-No!

Men – Should You “Multiple” Or “Serial” Date Or Is That A No-No!

Article by Mr. Lrx

When I wrote the eReport “How I Got 700 Dates in One Year” it caused a little controversy — usually amongst women.

A lot of women think that multiple or serial dating is a no-no, something that only dysfunctional people do. Well I got news for you. Everything is situational. Anyone that has followed my writings would know that that is my theme.

I would be the first one to agree that a person who “multiple” or “serial” dates with no intention of ever doing anything else would have at least some major “relating” issues.

But, serial dating applied in the right context is not only not dysfunctional, but it is quite the opposite. Serial dating done to get a better understanding of the opposite sex, so you can figure out who you like, and what you like, and what kinds of people like you, is about the most mentally healthy thing you can do.

What do you think most parents tell their teenage sons and daughters?

They tell them: “Don’t get serious with one person, you need to date and meet a lot of girls/guys.”

Now believe it or not, this teenage advice can also be very good advice for adults.

First of all, most adults never followed their parents advice and dated lots of people. Most people seem to have a pattern of hooking up with the first “acceptable” person who shows them some real interest.

Unfortunately, there is a big difference between “acceptable” and “ideal” and also unfortunately most people usually continue this pattern of hooking up with the first “acceptable” person who comes along well into adulthood.

We call this “compromising” or “settling” and ultimately it leads to unhappiness in relationships, and a failure to understand the opposite sex.

You see there are many different types of people in the world and, believe it or not, there is someone for everyone. But the problem is you may have to meet a hell of a lot of people to find that one someone.

Another problem is that many people are so confused about life and relationships and people, they don’t really have any idea of what kind of personality is a good match for them. They base their ideals off of the Hollywood imagery of what they think they want.

The cure is simple. When you date and meet lots of people, sooner or later you figure it out for yourself. It’s a natural process. You get comfortable with people, you realize that everyone is different, and that different types of people like different types of people. Eventually you figure out what kind of person you are and what kind of people you get along with best.

Mom and Dad’s teenage words of wisdom are good for everyone.

I was browsing a website recently and I saw a “snippet” by Stanley R Medley that really drives home the point. Here it is:

On “Dating”

The only reasonI ever gotDivorced isI never went outwith enough womento begin with–kind of put meat a disadvantagewhen it came tounderstanding women.

Sex is a natural thing. If you meet enough womenit comes easy.

But finding the right womenis a little harder. In fact,I’d call it work.

But if you meet enoughwomenSooner or later,One will like you,and you will like one of them.

Hopefullyit’s the same one.

(c)Stanley R. Medley 2007 (From: http://www.stanleyrmedley.com/Snippets.html)

Now Mr. Stanley R. Medley writes with a sense of wisdom and a sense of humor. But the point is he got it right.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to go out of 700 dates in a year for the hell of it, not even 100 dates. But if you want to understand the opposite sex and get a perspective on things, or if you just want to meet that person you’ve always been looking for and then stop and settle down, “multiple” or “serial” dating might just be for you. Golf Swing Teaching Systems-Golf Aids-Reviewed-Proven Tips Show How To Swing Golf Effectively

Golf Swing Teaching Systems-Golf Aids-Reviewed-Proven Tips Show How To Swing Golf Effectively

Article by Rachal Bonali

Golf swing teaching: Golden Tips.

The first thing you need to master is your swing. Driving is the act of swinging your club against the air, and hitting the ball off from the tee. One very good practice is taking aim. Don’t just hit the ball on the first try. Take a few practice swings before hitting the ball right on. It is easier if you visualize the cup, which is your target, and take the aim to get that ball into the cup. The right amount of force in your swing, coupled with the direction you take on hitting the ball, will contribute to the position your ball will land on. Take note and observe your surroundings and where the ball might land and be aware of the wind blowing against that direction. A golfer’s shoulders, hips, knees, and feet should be aligned to the target. Imagine drawing a straight line to your target. Make sure your body aligns to that line and you’ll be surprised that your ball will eventually travel along that imaginary line. In doing the right swing, learn how to rotate your body and naturally swing it along as you hit the ball from the tee. The body needs to rotate in order to maximize the power of the swing especially when driving the second and the next consecutive stretches. It’s also important to bend slightly at your left knee but keep your right knee flexed, to take full power over that swing. Limit your stroke. That is the whole point of the game. So, in order to limit your strokes, the right swing is very crucial. golf swing teaching aids can actually help you eliminate the wrong swing by observing how your body is moving. Golf instructors will tell you that starting to swing your club is the most important part of learning how to get that ball where you want it to be. Keep yourself relaxed. Think before you swing. Anticipating the trajectory your ball will travel can also improve how you manage your swing. In golf, your swing calculations is everything. Sometimes, a bit of luck can help as well. However, if you can’t hit the ball with a powerful and accurate swing, chances are you will freeze and let your self be stifled with an imperfect swing.

Golf can be a simple game especially if you take golf swing teaching lessons. It can be fun and challenging, and can certainly improve your problem-solving skills when on the field. Remember, the game is between you and the golf course.

Through The Correct Medication And Exercise Pre Diabetes Can Be Cured

Through The Correct Medication And Exercise Pre Diabetes Can Be Cured

Type II Diabetes has turn out to be a bit of an epidemic of late. More and more people are being diagnosed with this potentially life threatening form. Type II Diabetes generally sets on later in life, even though more youthful people are being diagnosed each day with this condition. According to the American Diabetes Association, around 54 million people in the United States have pre diabetes. Pre diabetes is a form in that the blood glucose levels are higher than average but not high enough to be considered Type II diabetes. Even though pre diabetes is not a full fledged sickness, it can also set off complications in the heart and blood circulation if left untouched.

The good news regarding pre diabetes is that with right nourishment and the care of a physician, you can steer clear of being diagnosed with Type II diabetes. The condition can turn around itself, but it does take work on the part of the individual, as well as fulfillment with the instructions directed by your physician.

Obesity is also an epidemic in the United States and lots of in the medical community believe that this is contributing to the corresponding diabetic epidemic. It is the general consensus of the health community that heaviness is a precursor to Type II diabetes. So, those who have pre diabetes can stave off the ailment through making some good for your health life choices that will remove their need for pills or insulin in later years.

One method to overturn the effects of pre diabetes is to keep a healthy weight. This can be simply completed through diet program and working out. For those who think that it is too much hassle to control their weight or complain that they do not have the time to work out, they ought to appreciate that the period they spend working out now can eradicate their time spent on dialysis. Whilst not all people with diabetes suffer kidney failure, a lot of do. And when the kidneys fail, these patients must spend lots of hrs every week, hooked up to a machine that functions as their kidneys.

Those who protest that they do not want to pay attention to their diet plan can be reminded that it is simpler to watch their diet program than to inject themselves with insulin or examine their blood glucose levels quite a few times a day. Folks who believe that meals that are rich in carbohydrates are less expensive than healthier alternatives can be reminded of the expenditure of medicinal drugs and doctor visits for folks who refuse to take charge of their state right away.

While a few people are pre disposed to diabetes because of genetic aspects, other people get this condition by eating too many bad carbohydrates, being inactive and not maintaining a healthy weight. If you have been advised that you have pre diabetes, do not fret. You can overturn this condition. Start on an exercise regime, even if it simply entails walking. Take a look at the Glycemic Index that explains which foods diabetics should stay away from and follow these suggestions.

See your health care professional regarding being put on a weight loss program and make certain that he or she continues to examine your blood glucose levels. Pre diabetes does not have to turn into Type II diabetes. By developing a better chosen lifestyle, you can reverse this condition and lead a longer, healthier life.

Taylormade R7 Draw Iron Set —-Hot In The Golf Course

Taylormade R7 Draw Iron Set —-Hot In The Golf Course

The new r7 Draw irons are the latest distance innovation from TaylorMade. Engineered with the same Inverted Cone Technology that has made their drivers #1 on Tour, these irons feature Draw Weighted Technology to remove weight from the cavity area at the toe and position the CG back and closer to the heel. An expanded COR zone provides increased yardage, especially on mis-hits. This revolutionary design makes the new r7 .Draw irons more forgiving and more workable than ever before.

So let us to see some reviews of the TaylorMade R7 Draw Iron Set:

These clubs have been fantastic for me!! when i bought these from a pro shop in chester i never knew what they would do for me. when i bought these i played off 20 i now play off 9 and all because of these irons. well done taylor made!!

These clubs are simply brilliant. When I say I’ve tried many sets of irons,ImeanLOADS…Ping’s, Callaways, Nike’s, Clevelands etc….but these things come out way on top!

So, why? Well, I’m not saying they are going to suit everyone, but I’ve suffered from aslight slice/fade for ever, occasionally I could hit straight shots with my old irons, but 9 times out of 10 slight fade. That’s not too bad I hear you say, but I’ve always wanted to draw and be able to shape my shots, and now I can.

I’ve only had these golf clubs a short time, and the very first time I took them upto my club and hit 50 practice shots. I would say 40 were dead straight, 8 were draws and a couple of miss-hit slices.

So, if you want to help to enable you to straighten your shots and even put a little draw on your shots, these clubs definitely help, but they won’t be THE cure, you’ll still need to be able to hit a golf ball relatively well.

I picked up my set brand new for £225 on ebay, they were a steal, but make sure they are not fakes…Check serial number on 7 iron etc for authenticity!

I’ll be keeping these in my bag for a very long time, thnkyou Taylor Made, brilliant irons, so good I’ve bought the draw driver too, just waiting for it to arrive 🙂

These are great irons. I bought a Taylormade driver several years ago and decided to try their irons. These clubs really get the ball up into the air. They hit much straighter than my previous set. The shafts might be a little long for my height (5’6″), but I just choke up a little and they fit fine. They have a great feel at impact and are easy to hit. I would recomend these clubs to anyone.

If you want to know more information of the clubs, you can go to the the website http://www.mygolfwholesale.com they supply with customers golf clubs of golf wholesale method.

Secrets of a Veteran Traveler for Successful and Peaceful Travel With a Small Child

Secrets of a Veteran Traveler for Successful and Peaceful Travel With a Small Child

For the past 13 years I’ve been traveling between the US and Europe on a regular basis. Since my son was born, he’s been going with me almost every time. On some trips my husband was with us to help, but on many more I was alone to take care of my now-8-year-old son on the nine-hour flights…

As an organizing and time management expert, I took advantage of those trips to accumulate a wealth of tips and strategies to make every plane trip a smooth and successful one every time. Here are some of them. May they save you some of the less-than-pleasant learning experiences I went through:

Separate seat or no separate seat, that is the question.

The first decision that needs to be made for all children under 2 years of age is whether you want them on your lap or in their own seat. As long as your child is small enough, there is no need for a separate seat, since many airlines can give you an in-plane bassinet. The airlines don’t exactly advertise the fact, but if you call the airline – and you may have to do this yourself, they sometimes won’t accept this kind of request from a travel agency – you can request a bassinet for the flight. You will then be assigned a bulkhead row seat, with a bassinet hooked on the wall in front of you. The bassinet was big enough for my 10-month old to still fit in. The hidden advantage of requesting a bassinet is that the bulkhead seat gives you a built-in play area in front of you for your baby to play, and invaluable advantage.

Once your baby outgrows the bassinet, the choice of a separate seat is much more of an open question. My personal choice was to have a second seat if I was traveling alone with my son, and to have him sit in our respective laps when we traveled with my husband. It worked well for us, but you may make a different choice. From my experience, there is no right answer at this point. Of course, past 2 years of age, this question becomes a moot point, since airlines will force you to get a separate seat for your child.

The car seat issue

The next big question, once you’ve chosen your seat option, is whether to take a car seat with you on the plane or not. If your child has his or her own seat and is less than 2 years old, FAA regulations force you to have one.

Beyond 2 years old, you are faced with a choice where both options have their advantages and disadvantages.  Taking your car seat with you makes your life easier, because you know how to install it, and your child is used to it. However, a car seat is a very bulky item. If you’re traveling alone with your little one – or worse, with several little ones – it’s almost impossible to juggle a car seat, a stroller, your carry-on an wiggly little one(s). Trust me, I’ve tried…

Some other things to take into consideration: your car seat, even if FAA approved, may not fit in a standard coach seat. It might also be perfectly useless at your destination if it can’t be installed using a standard car seat belt – not all countries have adopted the LATCH system, or they may have their own version of it. My choice has always been to get a car seat at my destination rather than travel with one.

The stroller

When you are traveling by plane, a sturdy, umbrella-style stroller is by far the best type of stroller to have. The lighter it is, the better, yet you want it to be sturdy: you don’t want it to break at the first opportunity, and you want it to be able to easily negotiate uneven streets and sidewalks, or even a dirt path, yet you don’t want to be heartbroken should it get stolen (yes, it happens, and happened to me). I found the Chicco umbrella strollers to be a great, affordable solution, and one of them, the Liteway, even fits infants from birth on! We bought one and it’s resisted everything we put it through – we still have it in case a little one visits our home.

Should you choose to take both a car seat and a stroller, know that there is an option that allows you to have both in one, the Sit N Stoll car seat stroller, which is FAA approved. However, I’ve seen some of those up close and personal, and I doubt that this seat would fit in a standard coach seat, so do your homework and make sure it will fit everywhere before splurging for one.

The passport

The passport deserves a section of its own because of the quirks of getting a passport for a little one. You see, you can’t just order a passport by mail, the way you can for yourself. The government will refuse to process your child’s passport application unless they are confident that you are not planning on kidnapping your child, so you have to apply in person, with your child, and provide proof that the other parent is ok with you getting the passport… This easiest is to make the passport application a family affair, and all go together to the post office or government office to file your application. Barring this, you need a notarized letter from your spouse agreeing to the passport application, or papers showing that you have sole custody. Knowing that ahead of time will save you a lot of delays – again a hard-earned lesson on my part.

While you’re at it, if you travel alone with your child or children, get a notarized letter from the other parent certifying that they know and approve of you taking the child on this trip. You most likely won’t need it, but having this document with me has avoided some less-than-pleasant interactions with zealous and paranoid immigration officers of various nationalities.

The carry-on

When traveling with a small child, which type of carry-on to choose is important. After trying different versions, my recommendation is a backpack – you’ll be glad you chose that when you have to bodily carry a squirming pre-schooler under one arm, while guiding the stroller with your remaining hand. A specialized diaper backpack is of course an option, but any good, slightly oversize backpack to which you add a changing pad and an insulated pouch works very well. Just make sure your backpack fits airlines carry-on size requirements, the airlines are getting stricter and stricter about it. You don’t want to find yourself having to check your carry-on in!

When filling your carry-on, take about twice what you think you will need. In other words, if you think you’ll need 2 diapers, take 4. If you think you’ll need formula for 4 bottles, take enough for 8, etc.

Make sure to include in your carry-on one, if possible two, full changes of clothes per child, and one for you. I wish I had followed this piece of advice the day my son threw up 15 minutes before boarding, and soiled both his and my clothes. I had a full change of clothes for him, but no extra pants for me, so I had to endure a slight yet uncomfortable whiff for the whole 8-hour flight (fortunately it wasn’t perceptible ahead or behind me).

Also include in the carry-on everything you think you’d need if your child fell ill: thermometer, nose pump, pain killer, fever reducer, antihistamine, etc. Depending where you go, it might be harder to get, more expensive, or simply hard to get on short notice. Besides, should your child develop an earache in the plane, you’ll be ready.

Finally, make sure to have plenty of of your child(ren)’s favorite snacks, some of their favorite toys and a few new toys they’ve never seen. Always having old and new toys and favorite snacks to  give to my son is part of what made passengers comment on how well-behaved, calm and quiet my son was throughout the flights.

When he was younger (circa 2005-2007), we also frequently took a DVD player and a Leapster to occupy an extra few hours. Nowadays, most transatlantic planes have individual entertainment systems, so you may not need to take any of those, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure that your plane has individual on-board entertainment.

When your child is an infant, a Boppy-style pillow may be something you want to take. It’s your choice, and a question of personal comfort, but I’ve always found that taking a sling or infant carrier on board allowed me to comfortably install my baby for sleep, and took a lot less space.

Once on location

Once you are at your destination, your small child will need two things: a place to sleep and a chair adapted to his or her size. Your hotel or friends and family may have equipment, but there is no guarantee that it’ll be as safe and sturdy as the one you’re used to. I personally never counted on finding either after my first trip, where I found myself with an inadequate crib and no high chair at all in restaurants.

One of the bed options is to take a pack ‘n play with you. This works as long as you don’t need to carry all your luggage yourself. I once had to negotiate an airport arrival on my own, and there is no way I would have been able to do it successfully had I had to carry a pack ‘n play on top of the luggage, the carry-on, the stoller and my very active then-15-month old. Besides, the airlines usually consider a pack ‘n play to be oversize luggage and charge for it as such. Having a kid-sized inflatable mattress with fitted sleeping bag offered a lot more flexibility and less bulk. When my boy was 8 months old, the sleeping bag kept him securely in bed, and the fabric let him breathe even if he had his face against it. As he grew, he loved having his own bed with him no matter where he went. No need to get him used to a new sleeping arrangement. this being said, if you want your little one confined when you sleep, and unable to just climb into your bed, the pack ‘n play may be your preferred solution.

The high chair is something we usually don’t think about – and an item I didn’t think of bringing with me the first time I traveled to Europe with my son. To my sorrow, I discovered that restaurants there are in general much less child-friendly than American ones, i.e. they often don’t have high chairs at all. Upon my return to the US, I immediately bought an on-the-go self-inflatable booster and blessed whoever invented it for the following 3 years. It takes almost no place in a suitcase, is easy to carry around, and makes you completely independent of what a restaurant, or a friend’s home, has or doesn’t have. As long as they have chairs with backs, you are set.

In conclusion – keeping your child happy during the flight

The best preparation in the world won’t make the flight easy if your child keeps crying through the flight…

Like most people, I hate it when I have to endure the constant crying or shouting of a young child in a plane, so when my turn came to travel with a small child myself, I did everything in my power to keep my son entertained and calm.  I succeeded so well that until my son was 5 – at which time it apparently seems to become a given that a child will behave in a plane -, at the end of every flight passengers commented on how my son was calm and well-behaved during the flight.

The way I did this was by catering to his needs throughout the flight, no matter what they were. It was intense work during the flight, and I sometimes needed a nap once we arrived at our destination, but it was well worth it. The snacks, old and new toys were part of what kept him entertained. I also made the plane a no-food-rule zone, so that he would look forward to it, because then he could eat anything he wanted – as long as he stayed quiet. Presenting the toys one by one bought me calm time throughout the flight. When he wanted to walk (and he wanted to walk non-stop from 11 months old until he was 3), I would ask the flight attendant for the least disruptive place to do so, and then he would burn some energy there.

My son is now 8, and doesn’t require nearly as much attention as he used to. I can now read or even sleep, while he keeps himself entertained in the plane. But to this day I still travel with a couple of cheap new toys, and more than once have helped distraught parents calm a baby or toddler down and shared my strategies with them – helped by my son who seems to remember all the tricks that worked.

SICK OF SAWING LOGS ALL NIGHT? STOP YOUR SNORING NATURALLY – CHECK IT OUT WITH THIS SIMPLE, INEXPENSIVE SOLUTION

Article by BIVO

Embarrassing. I am a prideful person and a carrying husband. However, when it comes to sleep I saw logs that would make a lumberjack proud and often times I wake my wife up in the middle of the night. Sometimes I snore so loud, I wake myself up. If I go to bed before my wife, she will not be able to get to sleep so I stay up way too late to make sure she gets to sleep before me. I am always tired the next day. More often then not, we don’t go to bed at the same time anymore which is no fun at all. I will not travel with my friends and stay in the same room for I know that my nightly cattle call will keep them up all night and thus I will have a dearth of friends. I actually turned down a golf outing and camping trip because the gaggle wanted to stay in one tent. I was embarrassed for sure. I have tried nose strips and over the counter solutions that say they stop snoring – no luck for me! Surgery is too expensive and a breathing machine (CPAP) will assuredly work but I don’t want to be hooked up to a machine every night. Does this sound familiar?

A good friend of mine inquired why I had been so tired so I shared that I just get too little sleep because of my snoring issues so he suggested that I gander the book Stop Your Snoring Naturally (here is the link) https://paydotcom.com/r/18008/dvowler/18611398/

He says that the information in the book has done wonders for him and I am hoping for the same results for me. As the site intonates, “You Spend Over A 1/3 of Your Life Sleeping, Shouldn’t You Get The Most From It?” Amen!!

Here are Five Key Benefits from No Longer Snoring:1) Say “Goodbye” to sleepless nights where you’re constantly woken up by your partner in the middle of the night! 2) Travel without worry! Ever traveled with a friend and got a separate hotel room just because you know you snore too loud, I know I have.3) Wake up feeling energized, healthy and ready to take on the day! No longer will you start wearing down in the afternoon because of a dearth of sleep. You will be refreshed throughout the day.4) Sleep apnea can be the cause of your high blood pressure and your doctor would never know! 5) Go to bed at the same time as your spouse without fear of you falling asleep before they do and thus keeping them up all night!

How to Hit Your Golf Tee Shots Long and Straight

How to Hit Your Golf Tee Shots Long and Straight

The golf tee shot is your first shot on each hole out on the golf course. Typically, on par 4s and par 5s, you’ll hit your driver for your tee shot. Many golfers want to be able to hit the ball farther off the tee. Added distance with your driver will allow you to hit shorter irons into greens and generally help you score better.

One helpful tip for driving the golf ball farther off the tee is to setup up with your spine angle tilted slightly to the right. (Taylormade Burner Plus Driver) With the driver, you want to hit the ball sligtly on the upswing. Setting up with your spine tilted back will help you launch the golf ball high and give you more distance off the tee.

Setting up with your weight a touch more on your back foot can also be helpful with your driver. Play the ball all the way off of your left or front heel for best results. If you play the ball too far back in your stance with your driver, you’ll end up de-lofting the club even more and may have trouble getting it up into the air.

The pros on tour average 61% driving accuracy with hitting the fairways. The key with your tee shots is to hit it relatively close to the fairway so you are still in play and can manage a decent approach shot to the green.

Some people struggle with their driver off the tee and are even afraid to hit it. The reason the driver tends to be a harder club to hit is because it is longer and there is the least amount of loft with this clubhead. (Odyssey White Hot XG Putter 2009) The more loft the golf club has, the higher it will go but it the golf ball won’t go as far.

You need a proper stance and ball position to learn how to drive a golf ball straight. According to Tiger Woods, there are two reasons golfers do not know how hit the driver straight off of the tee box. He says golfers either place the ball too far back in their stance and/or too far away from their body. Bottom line, you need to have a proper golf stance to learn how to hit a tee shot straight and drive the ball like Tiger.

Let’s discuss how to get the ball the proper distance away from your body. This is essential to learning how to hit a golf ball straight off the tee box.

1. Your grip should hang beneath and slightly forward of your shoulders at address.

2. Any further forward and you are likely to have a pronounced inside to inside swing that will lead to strong draws or hooks.

3. Any closer to your body and you will tend to have a pronounced outside to outside swing that will lead to strong fades or slices.

many golfers have trouble figuring out how to aim a golf shot. You should aim a drawn line on golf ball down the target line. This ball then help your body align from top to bottom starting with your golf foot position on up to your golf shoulder alignment. It also helps you with your golf club head position at address.

Then, during the setup you can place the golf club so that the aiming mark on the driver, wood or hybrid lines up with the drawn line on the ball. (Mizuno JPX Fairway Wood) Then you can know that my club is aiming down the target line.

This is essential to learning how to drive a golf ball straight. Really, it is an unfair advantage for any situation where you can place the golf ball before you hit it.

However, master your driver and you’ll take tons of pressure off the rest of your golf game. It’s a whole lot easier playing from the fairways than it is playing from in the trees. When you’re hitting from the fairways, you’ll tend to hit more greens than you would from out of the rough or not in the fairway. Get some basic driver fundamentals worked into your golf swing and start playing better golf today.
